Home isn't the only place where consumers enjoy the great taste of General Mills products. The General Mills Bakeries and Foodservice division markets and sells our products to the foodservice channels that reach our consumers in schools, colleges, airlines, lodging, in-store bakeries, health care facilities, business locations and other recreational venues.
This division is so vital to our success and unique in its focus, that it has its own sales force, culinary team, marketing, customer service, R&D and information systems departments, as well as dedicated production facilities. We'd like to think that these resources have led to our exceptional record of profitability, with annual earnings growth of more than 10 percent over the past five years.
